VICTORIAN beautifully woven hair brooch and earrings, rare set

Price: $398.00
Description VICTORIAN rare hair brooch and earrings with both blonde and brown hair in open woven berry balls set in gold leaves and fittings.  Four of the balls on the brooch have hair that is coming unwoven a bit, brooch 2" by 1-3/4", earrings with a ball on one earring unraveling, 1-1/2" total length from the top of the loop to the very bottom of the earrings.

This set is a bit of a mystery.  It does test strongly as 10k gold, and the color is yellow gold when I polish it a bit.   But as delicate as it is, polishing is dangerous to the hair work.  When it is not polished, it looks a bit tarnished.  It's hard to describe in words.  This is one of the most amazing sets I have ever owned.
