       GEORGIAN antique 9k, pearl and hair mourning ring 1802 and inscribed En ThortonThere are 20 pearls around the center compartment, all beautifully matched and prong set. Pearls in jewelry like this can stand for tears. There is a tiny faint spot of scratches on the crystal, visible only under very close examination, but the braided hair can still be seen through it, and the setting is in very good condition.
