Description HASKELL Frank Hess early dress clip with carrot orange colored opaque round and flattened glass beads and metal floral findings, circa 1940.
This was one of my first Hess pieces and it has been in my personal collection for years.
In the early days of Miriam Haskell jewelry, when Frank Hess was the head designer, Haskell put no identifying marks on their jewelry, and Haskell was not marked at all until about 1947.
Today the early unsigned pieces are recognized from vintage advertisements and by their wonderful detail, hand work and design. View Product #19941
