The University of Oslo wrote in an article for the Science Daily web site that, "Few visual impressions can be compared to humans’ interest for faces. New research suggests that our brain rewards us for looking at pretty faces". When I read that, it made me think of face jewelry, too, and the pleasure some of us get from collecting and wearing it. Looking at faces gives us not only pleasure, but also lots of information about the person, who they are, where they might be from, and what mood they are in at that moment. EXOTIC faces parure with a lariat-look necklace that is a 22-23" chain with 1" ends each side and a center slide that is 2-1/2" by 1-1/3"; a bracelet 7" by 1-5/8"; and clip back earrings 1-1/3" by 3/4". The necklace has a fastener in the back and the slide moves up and down the chains in the front. None of the pieces are signed. FACES sterling band ring with three ladies faces on the front, size 7-1/4 and 3/16" wide. The center faces, which looks like a mermaid with streaming hair, has another face on each side, facing her.
