BOHEMIAN GARNET necklace with dangling garnets at the bottom of the designThe lacy open design and the trembling drops make this even more special, and it has a small box clasp. A necklace similar to this can be seen in the 1899 Benjamin Allen Company Catalogue and HERE. Every garnet is in place and the necklace is in excellent vintage condition, ready to wear for many years. The last photo is from a Victorian era catalog, here to show how many styles of garnet jewelry were available. A similar necklace is in Romero's "Warman's Jewelry Ed 3" on page 88. Another can be seen in the wonderful big book, "25,000 Years of Jewelry" on page 280, where they say it is 2nd half of the 19th century.
