BENNIE RATION Native American Navajo Kokopelli brooch of sterling silver and opal

Price: $398.00
Description BENNIE RATION Native American Navajo Kokopelli brooch of sterling silver and opal, the figure of a dancer with a corn design and a loop for a chain so it can be worn as a pendant, too.  It is 3-1/2" by 1-1/2", a hefty piece at 1.24 ounces.

The mark on the back is "BR" and a crow's foot which is the mark for Bennie Ration (b 1955), who began making jewelry in the late 1960s.  This may be the "Morning Singer" figure.  Opals are said to open one's mystic abilities, and they are beautifully colorful as well.
