Description DEROSA very unusual brooch and earrings with dazzling sapphire blue and clear rhinestones in a rhodium plated sterling silver setting.  The blue stones are a lovely rectangular cut and the clear round stones are brilliant.  The set is beautifully three-dimensional, which is difficult to show in the photos but we did the best we could so be sure to look at them all.

The brooch is very lightly signed on the back "R DeRosa" and the word "sterling" is on the pin itself, as well as the earrings.  The brooch is 1-1/2" by 1" and the screw back earrings are 1" by 3/4".   Made in the 1940s, the design of the crossed bridged bars is an interesting and unusual one.  NOTE: There is also a three-strand glass pearl necklace and bracelet that goes with this set.
