Description DEROSA black enameled brooch with gold plated sterling silver setting and clear rhinestones, signed "R DeRosa sterling". This regal enameled black oval has a crown, three fleur-de-lis with clear rhinestones and glass pearls in a gold plated setting. It is circled with glass pearls all the way around.
There is a flip-up loop so that it can also be worn on a chain or black ribbon as a necklace. Made in the later 1940s, it is 2" long. Some of this black enameled jewelry was called "Victorian Jewelry" in the DeRosa advertisements, including an ad in Harper's Bazaar from 1947.
All items in excellent vintage condition unless otherwise noted.
