DeMario 1945-65
Founded by Robert DeMario, this lovely jewelry has echoes of Miriam Haskell
in it’s intricate hand work with glass beads and artificial pearls even
though there is no connection between the two companies. A New York company,
DeMario made wonderful jewelry from about 1945 until the 1960’s.

EUGENE demi-parure in orange aurora
borealis faceted glass beads with rhinestones and rose montee on the clasps and
earrings, all set in gold tone. These are brilliant gorgeous colors that flash
with light. The necklace is 15-1/2" wearable length, the bracelet is 8" by about
1-1/3", and the clip back earrings are 1" clip backs.

japanned settings. The necklace is 15-1/3" wearable length and the clip back
earrings are 1-1/4". Every piece is marked "Eugene" on the back and the set

length on the shortest strand, and the clip back earrings, which are marked
"Eugene" on the back, are 1-1/3" and have gold tone metals settings. This
company made jewelry from about 1952-1962, not a long time compared to other
makers.
