accented with 9 karat yellow gold. The details include the golden crown
on his chest, the feathers, axes and a pendant around his neck. It is
marked with the continental "800" on the back and has a European style
trombone catch, 2-7/8". I have read that 800 silver was
historically used more in Germany, Italy and the US. What
wonderful detail and not a brooch I have seen before.

rhinestones are accented with aurora borealis rhinestones, and each
stone is in a setting with multiple prongs, a wonderful touch. The
dramatic coloring makes this very special and a joy to wear. The
necklace is adjustable from 14" to 16" and about 3/4" at the most wide.
The matching clip back earrings are 1-5/8" by 7/8". There are no
signatures but this is a very good quality set made in the 1950-60s.

NECKLACE of rose and blue colored rhinestones, the combination of Dragon’s breath-like cabochons and blue rhinestones make up
spectacular and unusual bib necklace. This is truly one of the most
beautiful necklaces I have owned in my 30 years in the vintage jewelry business.
I thought it might be by Schreiner, but so far I can find no definite proof of
that. I have seen one signed "Austria" in different colors. Whoever made it, it is wonderful in every way. The rarely used rose
cabochons have a dimpled look with a rainbow effect in them, the blue
rhinestones are teardrop shaped and they are the perfect accent to bring out the
beauty of this combination. The wearable length is 15" to 17" and the
front drop is 4" long. Probably made in the early 1960s, it is rare and a real
treat to wear. Please look at all of the photos to see the full effect!
