CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY JEWELRY

SWAROVSKI fashioned some of the best and most collectible Holiday brooches ever made, especially their
Christmas tree pins. While it is fun to
try to date them, we understand that Swarovski did not always
retire their jewelry pieces annually, like they usually did
with their crystal
figurines. So unless they are marked, some of these dates are estimates
or dates of issue only. I think there were over 50 different styles of
tree pins made from about 1996-2009 and some are still being made.
In the Mary Morrison "Christmas Jewelry" book there is a paragraph about
Swarovski and it says they "offered two lines of Christmas jewelry: The
Jeweler’s Collection… through department stores since about 1980, and the
newer Signature Collection… in boutiques since 1994."
Using their high quality crystals and finishes, these pieces also have
the best quality enamel work and lovely designs. Swarovski made tree
brooches annually for sale in different locations (Nordstrom, Rockefeller
Center, etc) as well as for general sale, and a few were dated on
the back.

SWAROVSKI Christmas

SWAROVSKI 2004
Christmas tree brooch with clear rhinestones boughs, emerald green enameled
edges, and red, blue, yellow and green cabochons ornaments in a hand polished
gold plated setting, marked on the back with the swan and copyright logos,
2-3/4" by 1-3/4". This has a star atop centered with a red cabochon and it is in
excellent never worn condition in every way. #K64833

brooch with clear rhinestone boughs and colorful tiny red, blue and green cabochon ornaments
in a hand polished gold plated setting. On the back is the Swarovski
swan logo and a copyright mark. Made in about 1998, it is in excellent

red marquis and red, green and clear rhinestones and a star shaped aurora
borealis on the top, all in a hand polished gold plated setting with a
textured back, marked with the swan logo and copyright mark, in brand new
condition with the dark blue hinged Swarovski box. The brooch is 2-1/8" by
1-5/8" and in brand new condition. Typical of the Swarovski attention to
detail, there is even a clear rhinestone on the back of the star.

2005
Rockefeller Center Christmas tree brooch with brilliant emerald green marquis rhinestones
accented with red, blue, purple, orange, yellow, pink and clear rhinestone
ornaments and in a hand polished rhodium plated setting, It is marked on
the wonderfully textured back "2005 Rockefeller Center" and
the swan logo and copyright mark are there as well. It is one of the larger trees at 3" by 2".
In excellent never-worn condition, it will be a delight to wear. It can be seen in the book, "Warman’s
Costume Jewelry" by Pam Wiggins, 2014 Edition on page 88. It is also in the

SWAROVSKI 2007 Rockefeller Christmas tree brooch with clear and aurora
borealis heart shaped stones and a red, lavender, green and pale blue
rhinestone garland. They are in a hand polished rhodium plated silver
setting and marked on the reverse with the swan logo and a banner saying
"2007 Rockefeller Center". This is one of the larger Swarovski trees
at 3" by 2" and it is in excellent never-worn condition. We

1996 Nordstrom Jeweler’s Collection Christmas tree brooch with
brilliant clear navette and round rhinestones in a hand polished gold plated
setting, 2-1/2" by 1-1/3". It is enameled in rich red on the back, a detail
Swarovski did on some of their better pieces and a sign of high quality.
This piece is a favorite of many collectors and was originally sold at
Nordstrom. It was shown in three books: Mary Morrison’s "Christmas Jewelry",
page 70 where she said it sold in 1996; in the Jill Gallina
"Christmas Pins" 2nd Edition book; and the Nancy Trowbridge "Christmas Tree
Pins" book. NOTE: One book says this tree was sold exclusively at Saks Fifth
Avenue, but I don’t think that is true. This piece can also be seen in the
book, "Christmas Tree Pins" by Kathy Flood on page 270. This is in

rhinestones with red and clear rhinestones accents. The stones on
three of the boughs are done in the Pointillage technique in which tiny
rhinestones are set into another material. They are in
