WEISS
Started by Albert Weiss in New York, the Weiss Company sold jewelry from about 1942 to 1971.
Some of their nineteen-fifties
and -sixties clear rhinestone pieces share a look with Eisenberg pieces of
the same era, even though there is no relationship between the two
companies. Weiss used high quality brilliant rhinestones, so many of their
pieces look as good today as the day they were fashioned.

WEISS green and purple aurora borealis rivoli and green rhinestones
brooch and earrings set in gold tone leaves, brooch 3-1/4" by 1-3/4", clip
back earrings 1-3/4". "Rivoli" are stones with facets that extend from the
raised center of the stone to the outside edges in an even fashion., and
they are wonderfully reflective. It is interesting that while the brooch and
one earring are marked "Weiss", the other earring, which is a perfect
match, is marked only "Lisner". This set is in excellent condition circa
1960s.

WEISS clear rhinestone bracelet with safety chain, 6-5/8" by 1/2"
wide. Alternating larger and smaller rhinestones create a lovely design and
it is all set in silver tone. The stones are clear and brilliant and the
catch and safety chain work perfectly.
