| FEATURE: AMOURELLE | Made by Kramer in the 1960s, AMOURELLE jewelry looks like a cousin... and sometimes a twin... to Miriam Haskell jewelry. That is because it was designed for Kramer by former Haskell head designed Frank Hess. Wonderfully designed, delicately worked, and easy to wear, it can unfortunately be very difficult to find. Not nearly as many pieces were made as there were Haskell things. Frank Hess was a wonderful designer, and his work is among my all-time favorites. I hope it would please him to know we jewelry-lovers appreciate his work all these years later.

| FEATURE: PURPLE | Rich, delicious purple... what a great color to wear! For some reason, that color just wows me this month. It comes with rhinestones, enamel work and even a few pieces of bakelite. And it is amazing how many clothing colors it goes with. Some of my favorite purple pieces are seen to the right here. The wonderful striped cabs bracelet, so distinctive yet east to wear, and the amazing Swarovski necklace in the original box, so rare. And then the Schreiner, yummy!
