DescriptionDEROSA seashell shaped black enameled fur clip with a glass pearl and clear rhinestones in a gold plated sterling silver setting.
This is signed on the back in tiny letters "R Derosa", it was made in about 1947, and is 2" by 1-3/4". Pieces from this group are in the amazing Brunialti book "American Costume Jewelry" on page 157, as well as in a 1947 volume of "Harper's Bazzar".
Some of this black enameled jewelry was called "Victorian Jewelry" in the DeRosa advertisements, including an ad from 1947. View View View Product #d42141
