EISENBERG "Decoration" brooch hand set clear rhinestones,1946

Description EISENBERG Decoration brooch with hand set clear rhinestones and an articulated dangling teardrop at the bottom of the pin.  Centered with two large brilliant rhinestones, this is circa 1946.  The brooch is  3" by 1-1/3" and is marked on the back "Eisenberg sterling" in letters that are very difficult to see.  This is in very good vintage condition and the clear stones are not gray as the photo seems to show, but are more brilliant.  This piece can be seen in Brunialti's "American Costume Jewelry, A-M" on page 172, where it says this was designed by Ruth Kamke and manufactured by Fallon & Kappel for Eisenberg.  There was an ad for this and two other pieces in the March 1946 edition of Vogue Magazine.    View
