Description HOBE rare sterling silver charms chatelaine with a brooch at each end and six charms. The brooches are decorated with applied twisted wire work with a center half-round, and there are charms suspended from it with 2 charms missing. Each brooch is marked on the back "Hobe sterling", and they are each 1-1/2" by 1-1/4. The shorter chain is 8" long and the longer one is 10".
The charms include a dancing woman, an urn, three owls sitting in a circle, a child in a cape, a man in an apron and a triskelion (three armored legs running), and they are each about 1" long. It was probably made in the 1940s, and the ad shown HERE is for a similar Hobe charm brooch. And as the ad says, it is antique style, hand made, and can be worn on a lapel or a belt.
