MIRIAM HASKELL designed by Frank Hess coil bracelet of blue glass beads and flowers and rippled glass leavesIt is 7" long and adjustable and about 1" wide, except where it crosses over in the front, which is about 2-1/4" wide. Two of the little glass flowers are loose on their threads, so it will need a bit of repair. The base is a woven cloth-covered heavy wire coil so that it wraps around the wrist and clings to it nicely. Pieces like this can be seen in the Gordon & Pamfiloff book "Miriam Haskell Jewelry" on page 129 and in Deanna Cera's book"Jewels of Miriam Haskell" on page 21. It is a Frank Hess design for Miriam Haskell jewelry circa 1940, and as was typical of that era, it is not signed.
