DescriptionRICE-WEINER LC Mark water man brooch carrying his water containers across his shoulders, 3". Set in silver tone metal with beautiful detailed enameling, cloisonne and glass beads, it is signed on the back "pat D 129,573", and made by Rice-Weiner circa 1941, designer Lois C Mark. This can be seen in Brunialti’s "American Costume Jewelry, N-Z" on page 14.
Brooches like this were also made by other companies, but many of the unsigned pins are much lower in quality and in a lighter weight metal than this one.
