DescriptionSHULTZ bakelite large smiling green turtle brooch with a yellow swirl shell and inlaid cream and black eye, made in about 2009 or earlier, 3-5/8" by 2-1/3". Shultz started making bakelite jewelry in the 1980s and he creates it using vintage 1940s bakelite. It is signed, as are almost all Shultz pieces, and in excellent condition. It is one of my favorite brooches they ever made.
