VICTORIAN Scottish agate and sterling silver buckle bracelet

Description VICTORIAN Scottish agate and sterling silver buckle bracelet, wearable lengths 7" or 7-5/8", buckle part 1-1/3" by 1-1/3" and the back is 5/8" wide.  Circa 1880s.  There is a link that has a slightly mashed silver area on one side, but the agate in it is very stable.

The colors and striations in these agates are just beautiful! More bracelets like this can be seen in that wonderful book, "Scottish Jewellery a Victorian Passion" by Diana Scarisbrick on page 70.  View     View     View     View
