VICTORIAN Whitby jet Lover's Knot snake brooch

Description VICTORIAN Whitby jet Lover's Knot brooch with hand carved snake or serpent designs on each side, 2" by 1-5/8".  This was carved by hand with simple early tools.  Other than the scratches and two chips on the back side, seen under magnification and which are expected in a piece this age circa 1860, this is in good vintage condition and there are no flaws seen from the front.  Such an interesting creature pin!  View
